mediterranean : It is advisable to intervene only when the soil is dry, however avoiding to expose the plant to long duration drought periods. We can decrease waterings or even suspend them during cold months.

continental : This plant prefers to be exposed to direct sunlight all year long.
Grow the Ajuga reptans outside all year long; it is a rustic plant.

alpine : Grow the Ajuga reptans where it can be exposed every day to direct sunlight as long as possible.
This is a very rustic plant, that is grown in the garden all year long without any problem.

mediterranean : Grow the Ajuga reptans in a very bright location, with a good exposure to direct sunlight.
These plants are very rustic and survive in the garden also in case of long intense frosts.

Fertilization Ajuga reptans : Give some fertilizer during the vegetative period, dissolving it in normal waterings every 15-20 days, or mixing a slow-release fertilizer with the soil.
