mediterranean : The Camellia japonica prefers semishady locations, not exposed to direct sunlight for too long periods.
It is advisable to grow this plant in the garden, since it does not suffer from cold.

Feed Camellia japonica : We suggest to fertilize the shrubs using long lasting fertilizers; usually it is supplied a fertilizing at the end of winter and a second one at the end of summer; in both cases it is used an organic fertilizer or a slow-release fertilizer.
