Adversity Epimedium grandiflorum : Avoid to apply treatments on plants that are not infected by parasites; in any case avoid to give pesticides or fungicides during bloom, to avoid to injure the bees. mediterranean : It is advisable very frequent and generous waterings, to maintain the soil constantly humid. We can decrease waterings in winter.

continental : We suggest to place these plants in a semishady location.
The Epimedium grandiflorum tolerates also long intense frosts without any problem.

alpine : Avoid to expose this plant every day to an excessive exposure to direct sunlight; try to place it in a semishady location, especially in summer.
These plants do not suffer from cold. They can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : The Epimedium grandiflorum prefers semishady locations, not exposed to direct sunlight for too long periods.
It is advisable to grow this plant in the garden, since it does not suffer from cold.

Feed Epimedium grandiflorum : It is advisable to fertilize perennials using a slow-release fertilizer, to be placed on the soil; it is also possible to add some universal fertilizer to normal waterings, every 15-20 days, from March to October.
