Fuchsia hybrida

Pests Fuchsia hybrida : The treatments are applied only in case there is an effective presence of parasites on the plant, using specific products. We suggest to avoid any treatment during bloom, which can injure pollinating insects.

continental : These plants shall be watered frequently to keep a constantly humid substrate. However avoid the water stagnation and decrease waterings in case of low temperatures.

alpine : Water the Fuchsia hybrida very regularly, to maintain the soil always humid, but not soaked. During the coldest months water only if the soil dries out completely.

mediterranean : Waterings will be very regular, giving a good amount of water, to allow the soil to be constantly humid, avoiding to drench it completely. Decrease waterings in the cost season.

continental : It is advisable to grow this plant in a very sunny place.
The Fuchsia hybrida does not tolerate temperatures below zero; therefore in autumn cover them with frost cloth, or replace them to a sheltered place if possible.

alpine : It is advisable to grow this plant to direct sunlight all year long.
Avoid to expose the Fuchsia hybrida to the frost; in autumn place them in a sheltered location or in the greenhouse or replace them in the house.

mediterranean : It is advisable to grow these plants in a very sunny location.
We suggest to grow the Fuchsia hybrida in a sheltered place away from frost; it is also possible to cover the aerial part with frost cloth during winter.

Fertilize Fuchsia hybrida : These plants need regular fertilizings, to be given from March to October; we can use a slow-release granular fertilizer, or a fertilizer to be dissolved in normal waterings every 15-20 days.
