Adversity Iris Barbata-Elatior : Avoid to apply treatments on plants that are not infected by parasites; in any case avoid to give pesticides or fungicides during bloom, to avoid to injure the bees. mediterranean : It is advisable very frequent and generous waterings, to maintain the soil constantly humid. We can decrease waterings in winter.

continental : The Iris Barbata-Elatior needs to be exposed to direct sunlight for many hours a day to have a luxuriant growth
The Iris Barbata-Elatior tolerates also long intense frosts without any problem.

alpine : The Iris Barbata-Elatior prefer very bright locations, where they can receive direct sunlight.
These plants do not suffer from cold. They can tolerate also very intense frosts without any problem.

mediterranean : They bear few hours of half-darkness, but need at least few hours a day of direct sunlight.
It is advisable to grow this plant in the garden, since it does not suffer from cold.

Feed Iris Barbata-Elatior : We suggest to fertilize bulbous plants from April to September, or during the whole period of foliage luxuriant growth; use specific fertilizers, to be added to normal waterings every 15-20 days.
