Adversity Ligularia dentata : Avoid to apply treatments on plants that are not infected by parasites; in any case avoid to give pesticides or fungicides during bloom, to avoid to injure the bees. mediterranean : From March to October waterings will be rather regular, but only when the soil has been completely dry for few days; during the rest of the year we can water only occasionally or avoid to give water.

continental : It is advisable a shady location, away from sunlight.
We suggest to grow this plant in a sheltered place away from frost and wind, even though it can tolerate slight frosts without any problem.

alpine : We suggest to grow the Ligularia dentata in a shady location.
These plants do not tolerate excessive frosts; it is therefore suggested to grow them in a sheltered place away from the wind, for example close to the house; or cover the aerial part with a frost cloth in winter.

mediterranean : These plants do not like direct sunlight, therefore shall be placed in a shady location.
They do not suffer from cold, and tolerate also temperatures close to -5°C; they are normally grown in the garden without any problem, or they are placed in a sheltered location away from the wind.

Feed Ligularia dentata : It is advisable to fertilize perennials using a slow-release fertilizer, to be placed on the soil; it is also possible to add some universal fertilizer to normal waterings, every 15-20 days, from March to October.
