Adversity Oncidium : It is advisable to grow orchids following the information suitable for each single type, this way usually prevents the growth of parasites. In case there is the presence of cochineal we can eliminate it by using mineral oil.

mediterranean : The Oncidium prefers semishady locations, not exposed to direct sunlight for too long periods.
This is a houseplant, that does not tolerate cold; it can be grown outside only during spring and summer.

Feed Oncidium : Give a specific fertilizer to orchids, regularly from March to October; suspend fertilizings during a possible rest period and during bloom. Avoid to leave the roots soaked with the fertilizing solution too long.
